Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) today announced that it has expanded its lubricant oil condition monitoring (OCM) service through a "significant" financial investment in its Rotterdam laboratory, adding analytical technology, automation and robotics for the testing of lubricants at the facility.

"The introduction of such advanced equipment and systems, enables a significant increase in the laboratory's capacity and efficiency and will further assist VPS clients' effective condition monitoring and routine maintenance programmes," said VPS.

With four ISO17025 accredited laboratories in Rotterdam, Singapore, Fujairah, and Houston, VPS says the latest investment in the Rotterdam facility has significantly added to its existing Singapore lubricants testing capabilities.

"VPS are proud and excited to have made this investment. The expansion of our OCM capabilities and resources in lubricant analysis, with such state-of-the art equipment, will assist our clients in maintaining the health and performance of their mechanical assets, through condition-based monitoring programmes," said Steve Bee, Group Commercial & New Business Development Director.

In May, VPS announced the launch of a new Quick Screening Service for Mass Flow Meter (MFM) delivery of bunkers in Singapore.
