Danfoss IXA Becomes Newest Green Award Incentive Provider
Green Award Tuesday announced that Danfoss IXA is set to join Green Award’s network of incentive providers, offering a 5 percent discount to ocean-going and inland navigating ships on the company's marine emission sensor, MES1001.
"Air emission monitoring and proactively taking action for it is one of the most important environmental topics right now," said Green Award.
"With over 50 various environmental and safety topics covered within the Green Award certification programme, Danfoss IXA’s product fits suitably in continuous improvement for environmental protection."
MES1001 continuously measures NOx, SO2, and NH3 directly in a vessel's exhaust system, helping ship owners and managers to monitor and document compliance with local and international emission regulations.
Last month, Ship & Bunker reported that Bureau Veritas S.A. (BV) had announced that its fuel monitoring programme, VeriFuel, would also become an incentive provider under the Green Award programme.
