IBIA Reveals New Acting Board Members

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has announced its new acting board members, which takes effect April 1, 2017.

As planned and previously reported by Ship & Bunker, Captain Peter Hall has stepped down as IBIA CEO and following a handover period, is now officially replaced by Justin Murphy.

Other changes include the departure of John Stirling of World Fuel Services, and Steve Simms of Simms Showers LLP, although both will continue their involvement with IBIA's technical and legal working groups respectively.

Joining the board are Torm's Martin Laue Brodersen and Dilip Mody of India-based bunkering firm Global Fuels & Lubricants.

Starting 1 April, 2017, the acting board of IBIA will be:
