Pakistan Player Announces Exclusive Bunker Supply Deal, Eyes IFO380 First for the Market
Prima Marine today has announced the signing of a contract establishing it as the exclusive bunker operator at Pakistan's port of Gwadar
"Gwadar Marine Services are developing the port as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and will see it established as a major deep-water port in the region. It is substantial project and one that Prima is both excited and honored to be a part of," the company explained.
Prima Marine says has initially purchased two new tankers specifically for Gwadar and, in addition to its existing fleet, can offer for both IFO180 and Marine Gasoil products at the port.
Delivery can be made at berth and at anchorage.
"For a first in the Pakistan market we will also shortly be in a position to supply 380- cst, which will be competitively priced to attract bunker only calls," the supplier added.
"This forms part of the major expansion plans that the group has set itself over the coming 12-month period."
