Aframax Tanker Arrested in Singapore

The Aframax tanker Ocean Mare has been arrested in Singapore, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.
Information from VesselsValue.com indicates that the 2006-built vessel is owned and controlled by Varun Shipping Company Limited (Varun)
The 106,100 DWT Ocean Mare was detailed following action taken by local law firm Haridass Ho & Partners, with the arrest taking place on June 22, 2017 at 3:57 p.m. local time.
The circumstances leading to the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is common in instances of payment dispute.
