Bulker Arrested Over Unpaid OW Bunker Bill Put to Auction

Infinity, a vessel that was arrested in October on outstanding debts from four creditors - including a claim for approximately $93,000 by OW Bunker assignee ING Bank (ING) - has been put to public auction following a ruling by an Indian court, Tradaewinds reports.

NKD Maritime is also said to be seeking to $1 million from the vessel's owner, Turkey's Glamour Maritime.

The vessel's insurance is noted to have lapsed on April 6, with insurance companies having declined  provide further cover to the ship.

Pending the hearing of the four different claims, proceeds from the vessel's auction will be go toward the legal suit against the vessel.

Interested parties have until April 19 to submit offers for the vessel.
