Chemoil Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
International bunker supplier Chemoil Energy Limited (Chemoil) [AV5.SI] has today announced the appointment of Fred Bendle as its Chief Financial Officer, an SGX filing shows.
The filing by the SGX listed firm shows the appointment to be effective from August 14, 2012.
Bendle joined Chemoil in November 2010 as Director of Internal Audit to oversee the company's internal systems operations, as well as making sure Chemoil meets all of its compliance obligations.
The filing shows he is an employee of the Glencore Group and has been seconded to the Chemoil Group for the past two years.
The listing also indicates Bendle has terminated a position he also held at Chennai, India-based California Software Company Limited where he was CEO from February 2012 to August 2012.
The departure of the previous Chief Financial Officer Mats Henrik Berglund, who also served as Chief Operating Officer, was confirmed by Chemoil in May.
Berglund went on to join Pacific Basin Shipping Limited in Hong Kong as CEO.
