Wednesday May 28, 2014
Sate owned Taiwan Chinese Petroleum (CPC Corporation) has warned bunker buyers could face loading delays at Kaohsiung port after the main engine of one of its fuel oil barges broke down last Friday, May 23, 2014.
"In order not to delay vessel's schedule, if the vessel could not wait for bunkering, we are forced to decline such orders," the company wrote in an emailed statement.
CPC Corporation says remaining in service it has one fuel oil barge with an approximate capacity of 1,000 metric tonnes (mt) for fuel oil and 300 mt for gasoil, and one gasoil barge with a capacity of approximately 800 mt.
