The handymax bulk carrier Propel Progress has been arrested in Singapore, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Information from VesselsValue.com indicates that the 1997-built vessel is owned by Shanghai Vasteast International and controlled by Sunbright Shipping Ltd SA (Sunbright)

The 30,800 DWT Propel Progress was detailed following action taken by local law firm Gurbani & Co LLC, with the arrest taking place on June 10, 2017 at 11:10 a.m. local time.

The circumstances leading to the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is common in instances of payment dispute.
