Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Completes 100th LNG Bunkering Operation: Reports
Tuesday September 29, 2026
Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in China completed its 100th bonded LNG bunkering operation on September 25, according to local media reports.
The milestone came when MSC Josephine received LNG at the port, marking the 100th operation since Zhejiang's first bonded LNG bunkering operation in June 2023.
The operations have supplied more than 500,000 m3 of LNG in total.
In 2026, the port introduced new bunkering models, including a February operation in which one bunkering vessel supplied two ships across the Meishan and Chuanshan port areas.
In June, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port also completed Zhejiang's first cross-customs-area LNG bunkering transaction.
Both the Chuanshan and Meishan container terminals have LNG bunkering capabilities.
