Reports: Head of Analytics Leaves Brightoil in Singapore
Tuesday April 2, 2013
The head of analytics at Brightoil Petroleum Holdings Limted [HKG:0933] (Brightoil) in Singapore has resigned, two people said to have knowledge of the matter have told Bloomberg.
Former BP employee Tay Guan Leng resigned early last week, the sources said, but they did not comment on where he might be heading.
Brightoil have yet to make an official comment on the matter.
Tay's exit is the latest in a series of high profile departures from Brightoil.
A total of seven other senior staff left the firm in the second half of 2012, which included global head of trading Quek Chin Thean, who subsequently joined Goldman Sachs.
Former FAL Oil and Koch fuel oil trader Ong Eng Hian is due to replace Quek this month.
