Tanker Arrested in Singapore

A 19,800 dwt chemical tanker was arrested in Singapore last week, according to records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.
The 2012-built Bochem Chennai was arrested at 00.25 am local time on April 12, 2016 following action from local law firm Haridass Ho & Partners.
As of today, records indicate the vessel has since been released.
The circumstances leading to the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is common in instances of payment dispute.
VesselsValue.com values Bochem Chennai at $25.68 million.
Last week a 75,700 dwt Panama Bulk Carrier was also arrested in Singapore.
