Talisay City officials in the Philippines have requested that that Seen Sam Shipping (Seen Sam) provide plans for the debunkering of 4,000 litres of bunkers from the MV Fortuner - a vessel that sank off of Barangay Cansojong over a month ago, local media reports.

Giovanni Sususco, a Talisay City Legal Officer, is reported to be coordinating with the Seen Sam to discuss developments toward the debunkering and salvage process.

"We are waiting for the results of their discussions, and we will let Attorney Sususco (inform us of) what to do next," said Councillor Antonio Bacalso Jr., chairman of the city's environmental committee.
