New Athens-Based Senior Bunker & Lubricant Trader for KPI Bridge Oil

KPI Bridge Oil Monday announced the appointment of a new Senior Bunker & Lubricant Trader at its Athens office.

Dimitrios Bouzoukis was said to have over seven years experience of marine fuels and lubricants trading as well as extensive maritime expertise gained with MSC, P&O Nedlloyd, and Maersk Line.

Bouzoukis will also function as team leader.

"It is with great enthusiasm and pleasure that I have taken up this opportunity to join the KPI Bridge Oil group, it being one of the leaders in the bunker industry," said Bouzoukis.

"It is an exciting new set up we have here and I l am thrilled to be working alongside Jesper to help him grow and develop the Athens team."

Commenting on Bouzoukis' appointment, Jesper Rasmussen, Managing Director of KPI Bridge Oil Athens commented: "Dimitris is a great fit for our team. His recent bunker and lubricant trading experience along with his earlier work with some of the major players of the maritime industry made him the ideal candidate to further strengthen our team."

Bouzoukis is fluent in Greek, English, French, and Spanish.

As Ship & Bunker reported in December, KPI Bridge Oil says the opening of the Greek office comes as part of the group's broader growth strategy and desire to further develop its key markets.
