Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) today announced the appointment of Ian Crutchley as Account Manager for UK, France & Belgium.

"We are extremely pleased to have Ian join VPS. Ian brings an exceptional combination of in-depth Marine industry technical and testing knowledge," said Group Commercial & New Business Development Director, Steve Bee.

Crutchley was said to have a proven track-record of successful achievement in business development, and joins VPS from Innospec, where over a nine year period he covered a senior technical role, followed by a business development management role.

He was also the Secretary to the CIMAC WG7, represented the UK on the ISO8217 Working Group and represented the Chemical Industry Association in the British Standards Institute, technical committee for liquid fuels.

"I am really looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity. It allows me to use my expertise and experience working closely with maritime customers to further develop business relationships and VPS services," said Crutchley.

The appointment is one of several for VPS in recent months, following the April appointment of Paul Parkinson as Group Business Development Manager for Oil Condition Monitoring, and well known industry veteran Ian Workman joining VPS' Americas team in March as Sales Manager for the U.S. Northeast Region.
