Molgas Completes LNG Bunkering of LCO2 Carrier in Norway
Gas firm Molgas Energy Group has completed a cool-down and LNG bunkering operation for a dual-fuel liquefied CO2 carrier at Northern Lights’ LNG terminal in Oygarden, western Norway.
The cool-down operation of Northern Pathfinder was carried out at Energiparken, next to its production facility, while bunkering was completed at Northern Lights’ own quay, the firm said in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Molgas deployed its bunkering vessel Bergen LNG for the LNG bunker operation, while Integr8 Fuels acted as a broker.
The Northern Pathfinder was launched last year for CO2 transport firm Northern Lights and is managed by K Line.
The vessel is fitted with dual-fuel LNG engines and rotor sails.
Northern Lights is a joint venture by Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies.
