Barents NaturGass Takes Delivery of New Storage at Polarbase LNG Bunkering Facility

VRV SpA (VRV) has delivered two super-large cryogenic liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks to the Barents NaturGass AS (BNG) LNG bunkering facility at Polarbase near Hammerfest, Norway, Gasworld reports.

"This will be our largest bunkering facility, 1250 m3 storage with maximum 90 tonne/hour transfer rate and 24/7 availability," said Thomas Ă˜ien, Engineering manager of BNG.

"VRV have delivered as promised with challenging deadlines, and have stood by our side throughout this process."

Michael Blondin, Global Sales Director of VRV's Cryogenic Division, commenting on the news said: "VRV is proud to be associated with such a significant project with BNG. This project is a testament to our commitment to LNG and our ability to execute large, complex projects on-time."
