Istanbul-based CYE Petrol Tic. Ltd. Şti. (CYE Petrol) Monday said it has maintained increased sales volumes for the last three consecutive years.

The company says that, with average annual increase of 30 percent, the company sold 190,000 metric tonnes (mt) of bunkers in 2013, 230,000 mt in 2014, 320,000 mt in 2015, and 430,000 mt in 2016.

The company suggests its sales growth has been supported by a quality and infrastructure investment plan, which was established in 2012, and included the construction of new generation bunker barges.

The company highlights that it has been using Emerson Coriolis Mass Flow Meters (MFMs) since 2014, making the company the "first and only" physical bunker supplier to voluntarily use the systems for bunker deliveries.

CYE Petrol says that, by 2015, all four of the company bunker barges were fitted with total of six MFMs, and in 2016, the company received new tankage at Poliport, expanding CYE Petrol's bunker storage volumes by 300 percent.

"Our investments for quality and transparency are very well appreciated by the ship owners. Our customers are enjoying to purchase exact quantity and quality from a market price with fairly transparent supply procedures. We are forecasting min 20 percent volume increase for 2017," said Ali Deniz Eraydin, CEO of CYE Petrol.

In May, Ship & Bunker reported that CMFMs were fitted on CYE Petrol's MT Tarabya-E and MT Bebek-E, representing the fifth and sixth Emerson Coriolis MFM on the company's bunkering vessels.
