New London-Based Senior Bunker Broker for LQM
LQM Petroleum Services Inc. (LQM) today has announced in an emailed statement the addition of another new broker, who will be based at its offices in London, UK.
Lykourgos Theodorou joins the bunker player effective today, December 14, 2015, as Sr. Broker.
Theodorou is understood to have many years' experience in the shipping industry as a buyer.
"Lykourgos worked for a well-established ship owner based in Greece, purchasing broker for marine fuel and lubricants. He has extensive knowledge of international bunker purchasing, awareness of a shipowner's needs and vast experience in handling disputes and problem solving," said LQM
"Combined with his energetic and efficient approach we have no doubt that his presence will benefit our international customer base. He also has a degree in Computer Science from the Metropolitan University in London, and a Masters in Computer Networks from Middlesex University in London, UK."
Theodorou is the third new face at LQM over the last two weeks, following the earlier arrivals of a new U.S.-based broker Nikolas Gkikas, at its offices in Greenwich, Connecticut, and UK-based Andrew (Andy) Lade who joined the bunker brokerage as the Head of International Sales.
