Port of Santander Sees First LNG Bunkering Operation

Spain's Molgas Energía, S.A.U. (Molgas) has completed the Port of Santander's first liquefied natural gas LNG) bunkering operation, LNG World News reports.
The truck-to-ship operation saw Molgas supply 40 tonnes of LNG over a five-hour period to the LNG-fuelled cement carrier MV Ireland.
The operation is noted to have been coordinated with the Port Authority of Santander.
Last month, MV Ireland was supplied fuel in the first LNG bunkering operation at Spain's Port of Bilbao.
