ABS to Host Webinar on MEPC 71 Outcomes and Impacts

ABS has announced that it will provide a webinar in August covering the results of the International Maritime Organization's (IMO's) 71st session of the Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC 71), which was held earlier this month.
The event, titled "MEPC 71 Outcomes & Industry Impact," will run on August 2, 2017 from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM PDT.
The webinar - which will feature speaker Thomas Kirk, Director of Environmental Performance at ABS - will provide an update on the Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention, ballast water treatment technologies, and installation challenges, as well as select air emission topics.
