Anastasia Kaziyeva, Head of Strategic Planning and Development Department at Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC (Gazpromneft), is set to speak on the impact of a 0.50 percent global cap on sulfur on the Russian bunker market from 2020 at the "Current State and Prospects for Development of Russian Bunker Services Market," PortNews IAA reports.

The forum, which is set to be held in Saint-Petersburg on June 29-30, is being organised by the Russian Association of Marine and River Bunker Suppliers.

As Ship & Bunker reported in March, a recent market survey conducted by Argus showed that fuel oil sales at Russian seaports decreased by 26 percent compared to 2015 to 8.8mn tonnes (t) in 2016.
