Oil prices were slumping early today on the heels of a bearish API report last evening but bounced once the EIA released figures.

Crude stockpiles fell by more than twice the expected amount in stark contradiction to the API report.

However, distillates grew across the board putting cap on gains and leaving oil prices little changed by the end of the session.

Bunker prices were volatile throughout the day.
