Nick Brown Moves From LR to BV

Nick Brown, the former brand and external relations manager at Lloyd's Register (LR), is set to join Bureau Veritas S.A. (BV) as its new Marine and Offshore communications director, Lloyds List reports.
Brown, who is said to have been head hunted by BV, left LR effective July 20 and is expected to start the new position on November 2, 2016.
"We wish him all the best, Nick has done a great job for nine years," said LR group communications director Mark Stokes told the publication, who will also be taking on Brown's duty in the interim.
It was noted that the Nick Brown in question should not be confused with LR's marine and offshore director, also named Nick Brown, who still remains at the company.
