PDVSA Closed for National Day of Mourning

The bunker sales department of Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA) has said it will be closed today, Friday March 8, 2013.

The government declared today a National Day of Mourning and a non-working day after Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who led Venezuela for 14 years, died on Tuesday aged 58 after a long battle with cancer.

A state funeral is being held today in the country's capital, Caracas.

PDVSA said it would reopen on Monday March 11, 2013.
