An industry veteran of some 30 years, Chopra joins RightShip at their Houston office from Anglo-Eastern where he was President for the past six years.

"I am delighted to welcome Anuj to the RightShip team. Commenting on his appointment, Chopra said: "Ship vetting is crucial to the continued safe operation of the global fleet and lessening the impact that ships have on the natural environment is of equally high importance.

"RightShip contributes to both these agenda leading issues and I am delighted to be joining the organisation at this pivotal time.

"I am excited about the opportunities that abound at RightShip and look forward to working with my RightShip colleagues to continue our growth in the Americas region."
