Anew Climate Opens Singapore Office to Expand Asia Presence
US-based Anew Climate has opened a Singapore office as part of its expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.
The office will serve as its regional hub for activities linked to carbon markets, environmental compliance programmes, Article 6 mechanisms and CORSIA development, it said in a statement on its website on Monday.
Andy Brosnan will relocate to Singapore to lead the office and oversee regional growth initiatives, including low-carbon fuel partnerships and carbon project development opportunities.
“Our expansion into Asia represents a significant step forward in Anew’s global growth strategy,” Angela Schwarz, CEO of Anew, said.
In March, Anew, along with LNG bunker supplier Avenir LNG completed their first joint LNG bunkering operation in Europe.
The company added that the Singapore office would help connect low-carbon fuel and carbon market activity between Asia, North America and Europe.
