Supplier Announces 0.10% Sulfur LSMGO Now Available in Pakistan
Emission Control Area (ECA) compliant 0.10 percent maximum sulfur LSMGO is now available in Pakistan, local physical supplier Orion Bunkers Limited (Orion Bunkers) has told Ship & Bunker.
"For many years the Pakistan bunker market was not able to offer LSMGO 0.10%S, but today the scenario is very different, and in the international market a lot of vessels now have the requirement to burn LSMGO both in ECA's and in many ports including port Karachi and Bin Qasim," Bunker Director Zeeshan Arshad told Ship & Bunker.
"It is no surprise then that many clients ask us for LSMGO, so we are pleased to announce that the product has now been available for the past two months and we have already made couple of supplies. We wouldn't be able to achieve such a milestone without the help of Pakistan State Oil."
Arshad said pricing for LSMGO was similar to regular DMA, which is currently priced around $612.50/mt according to Ship & Bunker data.
"Availability of the product is good and so is the price. Therefore, we welcome all our customers to bring in new business related to LSMGO," he added.
