BUNKER JOBS: VPS Seeks Bunker Surveyor in Singapore

Global fuel testing and decarbonisation advisory firm VPS Is seeking to hire a bunker surveyor in Singapore.
The company is looking for candidates with experience in the maritime and/or transport sector, while experience in quality inspections is a must, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement yesterday.
The advertisement lists the following requirements for the role:
- Experience in the position of bunker surveyor is a clear advantage. A Bunker Surveyor with license issued by MPA is a clear advantage.
- A Marine or Nautical degree will be essential. Examples are Maritime and Offshore Management, Maritime Transportation Management. Or a Certificate of Competency (COC). Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Recent experience within the maritime and/or transport sector and experience with quality inspections is a must
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good command of the English language in word and writing
- Strong in interpersonal and communication skills
- Due to the nature of the job, we expect you to be prepared to work irregular hours.
- Own transport preferred
