BUNKER JOBS: Meratus Group Seeks Bunker Operation Officer in Jakarta

Indonesian maritime and logistics operator Meratus Group is seeking to hire a bunker operation officer in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The company is looking for candidates with a minimum bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or any related engineering major, it said in a LinkedIn job posting a week ago.
The advertisement lists the following responsibilities for the role:
- Coordinate with bunker vendors regarding bunker schedules, stock readiness and bunker fleet readiness for delivery.
- Coordinate with the Ship Crew regarding bunker plans, timing, type, etc.
- Handle and manage the usage of the flow meter.
- Check trim and heel/list Get C/O to correct list.
- Ensure that the Ship Crew has done the checklist for safe bunkering process as per company procedure and standard.
- Create the Bunker Supply Report (BSR).
