Truck-to-ship bunker supplier and trading company Suzun Marine Fuels is seeking to hire a sales and supply development assistant in Samsun, Turkey.

The role is "an entry-level position within our growing global bunker company" based at the firm's offices on Anadolu Boulevard in Samsun, with occasional domestic and international travel.

The company lists the criteria it looks for in a candidate:

• Curiosity
• Analytical thinking
• Openness to learning and development
• Suitability for an international career
• A professional appearance
• Less than two years of experience
• A bachelor's degree, or a master's or doctorate in progress or completed
• Native-level English in reading, writing, and speaking
• Military service completed or exempt

The successful candidate will gain exposure to credit risk management, sales, operations, and purchasing, and the company says it is open to developing the person either as a generalist across all of those areas or as a specialist.

Full training is provided, and a general understanding of shipping and marine logistics is an advantage but not essential, it said, adding that applicants of all nationalities are welcome provided they hold a work permit under local law, and that interviews will be held in English only.

Suzun operates through Suzun Marine Fuels Pte Ltd in Singapore and Suzun Energy Ltd in Gibraltar, both under Gibraltar-based Suzun Holdings, and says it aims to become the first Turkish-owned global bunker company.
