BUNKER JOBS: Maersk Seeks Senior Marine Fuel Specialist in Copenhagen

Shipping company A.P. Moller-Maersk is seeking to hire a senior marine fuel specialist in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The company is looking for candidates with over 10 years of experience in marine fuel markets or related energy industries, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement last week.
The company lists the following requirements for the role:
- 10+ years of experience in marine fuel markets or related energy industries.
- A team player mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of marine fuel specifications, quality assessment, laboratory testing, and fuel performance.
- Proven experience investigating and resolving complex fuel-related technical issues.
- Experience supporting vessel operations, fuel trials, or implementation of new fuels.
- Strong understanding of fuel risk management and assurance processes.
- Ability to work effectively with vessel crews, technical specialists, suppliers, laboratories, OEMs, and senior management.
