Sweedish Shipping Group Intends to Buy Bunker Tanker

Sweedish shipping group Pallas Group AB (Pallas) says it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Germany's Medallion Reederei Gmbh for the acquisition of their bunker vessel MT SP Dublin along with the associated charter contract with Bominflot / Bunkers Gibraltar.
As negotiations were still underway, Pallas said pricing and other terms of the deal could not be disclosed, but their objective was to complete the deal before June 30, 2013.
"It is extremely gratifying to be able to communicate this kind of positive news," the company said.
The 2009 built vessel was described as a modern bunker tanker with a load capacity of about 3700 tonnes.
