Marine fuels firm Bergen Bunkers is seeking to hire a junior trader -bunkers & lubricants in Norway.
The company is looking for candidates to play a key role in the purchase and sale of bunkers and lubricant oils, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement today.
The company said it is looking for candidates who:
- Have a passion and interest in shipping
- Is a team player, but also able to work independently
- Is analytical, with good numerical understanding
- Has a good eye for detail, but also the ability to see the big picture
- Is structured and can work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Have relevant education or background, preferably from shipping
- Is good at building and maintaining relationships (good with people)
- Is dynamic and flexible, with the ability to learn quickly
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Thrives working in a dynamic and international environment
