Sunoil Biodiesel Wins Approval to Supply Sustainable Biofuels in Belgium
Biofuel firm Sunoil Biodiesel has secured approval to supply its sustainable biofuels in Belgium.
The approval adds Belgium to the growing number of European markets where Sunoil is authorised to supply its biofuels, the company said in a LinkedIn post yesterday.
Sunoil has also been active in the marine biofuel market in the ARA.
In June, marine fuels firm Verde Marine Energy partnered with Sunoil Biodiesel and IJsselland Bio Fuels B.V. to supply B100 marine biofuel in the ARA.
Sunoil produces biofuels from waste-based feedstocks such as used cooking oil at its plant in Emmen, the Netherlands.
The company's B100 is also being used by a Dutch inland barge, which began using the fuel in May.
“Belgium now joins the growing number of European markets in which we are approved to supply our biofuels, another important step in strengthening our position as a reliable supplier across Europe.”
“For Sunoil, entering a new market is about much more than commercial opportunity,” the company said in the post.
