Danish bunker group Bunker Holding has established a new company with the aim of streamlining the group's service delivery to its top tier customers, Bunker Holding has confirmed to Ship & Bunker.

The company is called Bunker One and has been in development for over a year, the company said in an email.

Bunker One has two offices, one in London and one in Singapore, and a 16-strong staff.

"Bunker One will focus on the long-term management of BH's major customers, and look to win new business from 'top tier' global customers," the email said.

This will give those major global buyers a consistent, high level, global service, and, at the same time avoid potential issues by them being approached by several BH group members all competing with each other, it added.

Bunker Holding is the parent company to a number of entities in the ship services sector. According to its website, company turnover in 2016-2017 stood at $6.5 billion with pre-tax profit posted at $35 milion.
