Peter Grunwaldt has been hired by Endofa to head its commercial Trading department, the bunker supplier and trader announced today in an emailed press release.

"To attract a talented executive like Peter, is huge for us. Peter comes with a wealth of bunker and managerial experience. His network will complement our current portfolio as well as put us in front of new customers and opportunities," said Endofa's Kenn Soendergaard.

Grunwaldt has previously held positions within the industry at Maersk and the Glencore Group, and until earlier this year was CEO at Soyuz Bunkering Group (SBG).

Commenting on his appointment, Grunwaldt said: "My experience and network within buying, selling and trading of bunkers, will assist in expanding the Endofa brand worldwide. I enjoy the fact that we are a growing company, with a huge emphasis on caring for the business and our employees. We are very much committed to a structured and educated growth strategy."

Endofa also noted that throughout this year it has seen an increase in demand on both its trading and physical side.

To that end, in May the company also opened a new office in Copenhagen - "Tuborg Havn", Denmark, saying it will serve as an "ideal location" to better serve clients in the Northern European market.

"Scandinavia is an area many of Endofa’s Staff and Management call home. We are all very excited about having the support to open our doors to this office," Soendergaard said at the time.

The office is headed by one of Endofa’s Founding Partners, Allan Frost.
