Imtech Marine has been rebranded RH Marine Group following its acquisition by Netherlands-based Pon Holdings and Parcom Capital, the company announced Thursday in an emailed press release.

"RH Marine Group is built on the strong roots of the founding companies, Radio Holland and van Rietschoten & Houwens," stated the company.

The maritime systems integrator is said to have launched its new identity at Rotterdam's Europort conference, including a redesign of its Radio Holland brand.

"Our fleet of brands including Radio Holland, RH Marine, Van Berge Henegouwen, Venteville, Techsol Marine, Elkon, Schiffbau-/Dockbautechnik,and Tess will all keep individual names and branding styles and focus on their key specialisms, technology expertise and target markets to deliver customised, flexible solutions which closely align with customers' requirements," explained René ten Brinke, CEO of RH Marine Group.

"In a sense, this is a new start and we're looking forward to the future."

RH Marine Group is said to be staying active in a number of markets including, navy, megayachts, special vessels and ferries, as well as cruise ships, with the company noting that it will be focusing its innovation efforts on "hybrid power solutions, future proof ship automation, and performance management."

In October, Ship & Bunker reported that Pon Holdings and Parcom Capital's takeover of Imtech Marine had been finalised and approved by the European Commission.
