Crude futures surged today bolstered by firming stock prices and a soft U.S. dollar.
WTI contracts for November delivery were up all day and firmed nearly 2% settling at $46.26 per barrel.
Brent contracts for Novemeber delivery firmed 2.5% settling at $49.25 per barrel.
Bunkers were firm today in the primary ports.
