BetterSea and GTT Marine Partner On FuelEU Trading and Pooling
FuelEU compliance solutions firm BetterSea has partnered with GTT Marine to offer FuelEU Maritime compliance tools through Vesper Insights.
GTT Marine will integrate BetterSea’s platform into Vesper Insights, allowing customers to carry out FuelEU trading and pooling directly through the platform, BetterSea said in an emailed statement on Monday.
The integration will give users access to BetterSea’s marketplace, daily FuelEU surplus index and simulation tools, along with pooling, post-trade and Thetis reporting services.
The companies said the partnership will provide shipowners, operators and charterers with a more direct way to manage FuelEU compliance, from assessing costs to trading, pooling and reporting.
“This partnership with GTT Marine marks an important step in our mission to make FuelEU compliance and pooling easier to access and execute, while underlining BetterSea’s position as the market leader,” Maximilian Schroer, Co-CEO of BetterSea, said.
