Mediterranean Focus
Alpha Trading operates physical supply bases in Genoa, Koper, Monfalcone and Trieste.
The firm sees its main strength as a solid reputation for reliability, operational flexibility and its ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the maritime industry.
Its storage infrastructure between Genoa and Trieste exceeds 70,000 m3, supported by a well-developed barge logistics capability, ensuring efficiency and continuity of supply across the Northern Adriatic and Ligurian areas.
A key strategic asset of the company is its proprietary modified bitumen production plant in Northern Italy, with an annual capacity of approximately 50,000 tonnes. This positions Alpha Trading as a significant and independent player in the regional bitumen market.
Aligned with the maritime sector's decarbonisation pathway, Alpha Trading has made substantial investments to ensure the availability and distribution of alternative and lower-carbon fuels at its supply locations.
In particular, the company is highly focused on supplying products such as HVO and B24, supporting shipowners's decarbonisation efforts to comply with IMO and EU requirements with respect to key regulatory frameworks, including IMO requirements.
