Today oil prices retreated back towards the $30.00 per barrel mark after the focus shifted back on the oversupply fundamentals.

In the last two trading sessions both ICE and NYMEX crude contracts surged 10% on an over reaction of winter storm Jonas and short covering in the market.

Both benchmarks fell 5% today after Iraqi data showed record output last month.

Bunkers were soft today in the primary ports.
