Seaside LNG Names New Leadership Team to Support Growth
Houston-based gas firm Seaside LNG has appointed a new C-suite leadership team as it looks to expand its LNG bunkering business.
The new team brings extensive experience across the energy and shipping sectors, as it prepares for further growth in demand for LNG as a marine fuel, it said in a press release on Wednesday.
"We have built the infrastructure, assembled the fleet, and now we have the leadership team to match our ambition to grow our established platform, Douglas Shanda, CEO of Seaside LNG, said.
"As LNG demand across the shipping industry reaches historic levels, Seaside is the only fully integrated platform on the continent capable of delivering LNG from liquefaction to vessel — safely, reliably, at scale and on schedule."
The appointments also include Jason Owens as chief operating officer, Andrew Bonnarens as chief financial officer, and Bryan Frey as chief commercial officer.
Seaside LNG said it expects demand for LNG as a shipping fuel to keep growing in the coming years.
