Hong Lam Marine's New Bunkering Vessel Launched in China
Singapore-based bunker craft operator Hong Lam Marine has launched a new bunkering vessel at a shipyard in China.
The vessel, Priority, was launched on August 12 at Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding Co and is the first of four newbuilds in the company's latest series, the company said in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
“As the first vessel in our latest series of four newbuilds, the bunkering vessel Priority represents an important milestone in our ongoing fleet renewal journey,” the company said.
“This achievement reflects the strong partnership, dedication and teamwork of our project team, shipyard partners and stakeholders, whose collective efforts have brought the vessel to this significant stage of construction.”
The company is now looking ahead to the vessel's completion and delivery in the coming months.
Hong Lam Marine is one of the licensed bunker craft operators in Port of Singapore, according to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
