Rosneft Initiates Bunker Fuel River Transport for 2017 Navigation Season

Russia's Rosneft says it has initiated the transportation of oil products, including bunkers, by river for the 2017 navigation season, PortNews IAA reports.

The company says it expects to transport more than 4 million tonnes of dark and light oil products in 2017.

The transported cargoes are noted to specifically include heavy fuel oil, petroleum fuel, diesel fuel, and bunker fuel from Samara Group refineries, with 2017 said to be likely to see the initiation of transportation of oil products from the Ufa Group refineries as well.

The navigation season is expected run through to the end of November.
