A 526 dwt bunker tanker, Zebron, ran aground last week near Stockholm, Sweden, according to reports from industry sites Ship Wreck Log and Maritime Bulletin.

Citing the Swedish Coast Guard as the source, reports said Zebron ran aground at about 12:30 on September 18 in Stockholm central archipelago between Resarö and Åkersberga.

The bunker tanker was said to have had around 30 tonnes of fuel on aboard, but there were no reports of a spill or damage to the vessel.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with reports indicating alcohol may have been a factor in the vessel's grounding.
