BUNKER JOBS: CMA CGM Seeks Bunker Operations Purchaser in Marseille

French shipping company CMA CGM is seeking to hire a bunker operations purchaser in Marseille, France.
The company is looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in commodities or the maritime sector, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement last week.
The advertisement lists the following requirements for the role:
- You have a Master’s degree (+5 years) in the maritime or energy sector, preferably, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the commodities and/or maritime sector.
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Good understanding of marine fuels
- Excellence in execution, customer orientation, good team spirit and communication skills
- While being autonomous, you work with your back-up to guarantee continuity of service and also take part in bunker purchasing weekend duty watch.
