Djibouti-based bunker supplier Red Sea Bunkering (RSB) has announced the resumption of VLSFO sales, effective this week.
The firm will continue to offer all marine fuel grades, including LSMGO, across its Djibouti bunkering network, the company told Ship & Bunker on Tuesday.
“Amid the ongoing structural transitions and challenges within the global maritime sector, RSB, in close coordination with our strategic partners, remains fully operational,” Abdi Ismail, CEO of RSB, said.
“Despite current market difficulties, we are successfully maintaining the seamless availability of all core marine fuels, including Low Sulphur Gasoil (LSMGO).”
“We remain dedicated to safeguarding your operational continuity by supplying the exact products your vessels require, strictly adhering to the highest international quality standards and ISO specifications.”
The company has also commissioned the bunker barge REDSEA III into its active fleet to increase bunkering capacity and improve delivery logistics.
Several leading container lines are gradually returning to Suez Canal transits.
Sector specialist Alphaliner also reported last week that container lines have shifted 63% of Far East-Europe capacity back to the Suez Canal route.
