Russian supplier Lukoil-Bunker LLC (Lukoil-Bunker) has announced that the tankers Tarnika, VF-6, and Arktika have delivered record-high volumes of bunkers to large capacity vessels at the outer anchorage at the port of Kaliningrad.

The stems were said to be up to 6,000 tonnes each, although details on the number of stems was not given.

The outer anchorage was said to attract large vessels unable to enter the port because of draught restrictions.

Additionally, it was reported yesterday that the Baltic Sea Ports Administration noted transshipment of dry bulk cargo for Kaliningrad surged by 82 percent to 89,700 tonnes in January of 2016, although overall throughput was down 12 percent year-on-year.

In May of 2015 Ship & Bunker reported that Lukoil-Bunker had resumed bunkering operations in the Yaroslavl region.
