BUNKER JOBS: Kyklades Maritime Corporation Seeks Bunkering Coordinator in Piraeus

Greek shipping firm Kyklades Maritime Corporation is hiring a bunkering coordinator in Piraeus, Greece, to manage its end-to-end bunkering workflow.

The company seeks candidates with three years’ experience in procurement, bunkering or shipping operations, it said in a LinkedIn job advertisement yesterday.

The job posting lists the following responsibilities for the role:

  • Negotiate bunker offers and manage the full RFQ process
  • Maintain a bunkers plan ensuring the fleet’s needs are forecasted and managed
  • Manage the relationships with bunker suppliers and conduct formal assessments of performance
  • Monitor, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Process bunker invoices and reconcile them, flagging and resolving discrepancies
  • Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely payments
  • Maintain the Bunkering Database and ensure full document traceability and audit readiness
  • Produce monthly and quarterly bunker consumption reports providing management with accurate data
  • Track and report price variances
  • Compile bunker price trend reports
  • Assist Operations Department with ad hoc data extraction, analysis and preparation for internal meetings
  • Support the administration and monitoring of the company’s EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime obligations
  • Prepare requisitions, process payments, and follow up on EU Allowances and FuelEU Maritime credits
